Upper Cross ("the App") respects and protects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Training Data: workout records, exercise programs, sets, reps, weights, RIR (reps in reserve), RPE (rate of perceived exertion), body feedback (soreness, tension, etc.), session duration.
• Posture Assessment Data: posture evaluation questionnaire results that you voluntarily submit.
• App Preferences: language selection, UI settings, notification preferences.
• Hajimi Companion Data: feeding records, intimacy level, companion state (stored locally only).
• Device Information: OS version, device type (for adaptation and crash analysis).

2. How We Store Information

Local-Only Storage: In the current version (v1.0), all training data, settings, and Hajimi companion state are stored locally on your device only (browser IndexedDB and localStorage). No data is uploaded to the cloud. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

Future Versions: If optional cloud sync is added in a future update, we will update this policy and obtain your consent beforehand.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide training plans and execution functionality
• To generate training reports and trend analysis
• To optimize app experience and fix issues
• We do NOT use your data for advertising or user profiling

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

Third-party services we use:

• Supabase (optional): for cloud storage and sync, only stores training data after you opt in. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Formspree: if you contact us via the feedback form, your information will be submitted through Formspree. See Formspree Privacy Policy.
• Netlify: for PWA static asset hosting, may log standard access logs (IP address, page access time). See Netlify Privacy Policy.

5. Health Data Statement

This app falls under the fitness and posture training category. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation advice. All training content is for reference only and does not replace professional medical advice. Body feedback data collected is used solely for personal training adjustments, not for any medical purpose. If you experience pain, dizziness, numbness, or significant discomfort, stop training immediately and consult a doctor.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Local data is stored on your device and can be cleared through browser settings. Cloud-synced data deletion can be requested through the app settings. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
